Telecom masts

Telecom masts are becoming increasingly common on rural property.  Carver Knowles are experienced in dealing with all aspects of the telecom mast process including negotiating heads of terms from the first initial approach by the telecom operator to carrying out rent reviews to negotiating revised terms where the operator wishes to put extra equipment on the mast.

Our team have a good working knowledge on the Electricity and Telecoms Act and, where appropriate, will work with legal advisers to ensure interests are protected and payments/compensation maximised.

Road schemes

In recent years the number of road schemes being built has slowed, but across the regions Carver Knowles have had involvement in a variety of projects.

 Where to start

If you are approached by a utility company wanting access to your land they will often pay the professional fees incurred dealing with the majority of the issues.

 

From the outset of a project/scheme we will deal with such matters as:-

 

  • Check the party has the rights or otherwise to enter on to the land
  • Negotiate and agree compensation and/or appropriate payments
  • Undertake pre-entry records of conditions were appropriate
  • Liaise with solicitors if an easement or other agreement needs to be entered into to ensure interests are fully protected
