The story line for each month is largely repetitive….another all time low in terms of volume deliveries. RPA figures published yesterday confirm deliveries for the month of December were 1,065.9ml, 29ml down on last month putting the cumulative deficit compared to last year’s all time low at over 230ml.
Butterfat is however running at higher levels. November’s figure has been adjusted up to 4.23% whilst December has been put at 4.20% which leaves the cumulative figure at 4.04% - 2 points up on last year and the highest since 1998/99.
