Features of the statistics for the deliveries made in the UK for November include volume deliveries that for a change are not the lowest on record since 1994…FMD year (2001) produced a lower return by c8ml; and, butterfat for the month was the highest on record.
Volume deliveries for the month amounted to 1,014.0ml, some 18.3ml lower than last year putting the cumulative deficit compared to last year at more than 200ml.
Butterfat for the month was recorded at 4.20% up from 4.17% for both last month and last year. The cumulative butterfat average now runs at 4.01% - 1 point up on both last year and last month but hardly going to cause ripples of concern when making predictions about the year-end outcome.
